My name is Liam Charles Erven. I was born on May 4, 1985 In Albuquerque New Mexico. I was born with a disease called Norries that caused my blindness. Soon after my birth, I moved to Des Plaines where I’m presently living. I have many interests including: radio, TV, talking on the phone, reading, writing, programming, watching hockey, hanging out with my friends, and other various things.
In 2004/2005, I attended a technical school where I hoped to pursue a career in broadcasting. I’d wanted to get a job in sports or commercial production, but finding employment was difficult to say the least. Over the years, I’ve had a hand in many interesting projects. I’ve done internet radio shows on several stations including: ACB Radio Interactive, and the now dormant Test Pattern Radio. I also write computer games for the blind. You can check out L-works.net for my games.
I also maintain a YouTube channel where I primarily focus on my experiences as a blind gamer.
